Family trip at Thai Fish Farm, Hulu Langat

Cravings for Good Thai food? With great environment? Try Thai fish farm, Im sure you wont be disappointed. Thai food in Malaysia are incomparable to those in Thailand. Nevertheless, I can guarantee their texture here is the closest you can find in Malaysia. This place gives a feeling as if your in Thailand. The employees can even speak Thai!

We went there before dark, around 5.30pm. The main road to Thai fish farm is uphill and certain area has no street lamp so it gets really dark and creepy at night. It's probably harder to find the place when its dark.

Dinner by the river, Where else can you get this in KL?

Here's the best part. **Drum rolls!!** They serve their dishes via boat rides. How COOL is that!

Seafood is definitely served best when grilled .
There goes our temptations ordering grilled stuff. Their grilled items were the best!

Sing your hearts out! That's a karaoke hut in the middle of the river.
You would need a boat ride to get there.

Dish NO.1 : Probably one of the best grill fish you can ever get.  It is not too overdone and the flavor blends perfectly with the fish.

Dish NO.2 : Tom Yam is like the MUST order item if your going for Thai food. The tom yam has an excellent mixture of hot, spicy, sweet and sour taste.

We ordered 2 types of squid. Greedy Mode, we want to try everything. "Hiak Hiak"

We were shocked when they served this dish to our table. We thought it was not what we ordered. Instantly, we turn it down and claimed that it was not our order. To our surprise, this was the Squid with salted egg that we ordered.

The squid was a disappointment as it was soggy and the salted egg was not very palatable.

On the right was the Grilled squid. The squid was golden-brown, tender and tasteful. Definitely not too chewy or rubbery.

Certainly made up for the other squid.

Love the Grilled Lamb. It was the most popular dish on our table. Finished within minutes! That's how good it was.  It's purely well done. Definitely give a Thumbs-up for it!

Kerabu is another famous dish in Thailand. It tasted a bit spicy and sweet.
Goes well with all the other dishes.

Above was the fried chicken we ordered.
Hmm, I wouldn't recommend it because it doesn't taste that splendid.

Kangkung Belacan? In conjunction with cheaper market price for kangkung ?

At first, we wanted to order their butter prawn. However, we changed our order after a recommendation on the "Samba Patal" Prawn. The prawn was huge, fresh and were surely satisfying to grab upon.

In total, we ordered 10 dishes ( Ordered 2 Kangkung belacan ) and 4 jugs of juice for 10 people. The bill summed up to RM 350.

Overall, I enjoyed dining here. Would absolutely come back again.
